Project 4
Company: Autonomic
Teams: UI team
Duration: 2 months
Target devices: desktop and Mobile
Role: UX and Visual Design
Project description
This project was a design exercise conducted by the UI/UX team to present a potential business model to the Autonomic leadership team. It was based on aggregated reporting, which showed an increase in third-party account activity and adoption across TMC services and the overall platform.
The primary goal was to mock up an end-to-end flow of the developer ecosystem, including:
-
The TMC Marketplace
-
Third-party developer self-service management
-
Autonomic admin application review
- End-user consent flows
Challenges and solutions
No user research allowed
Since direct contact with third-party developers was not permitted, we relied on analytics data and feedback from customer support teams to understand user needs.
Understanding permission models
We had to quickly learn and design around complex permission structures for developers, administrators, and end-users.
Short timeline
The entire developer ecosystem needed to be designed within a very short timeframe, requiring fast iterations and a focus on prioritizing key flows.
Steps:
1. Research
Research focused on:
-
Analyzing internal data and activity metrics
-
Studying competitor platforms for references and best practices
2. Wireframes
Developed wireframes for the entire flow to quickly validate ideas and establish structure.
